NanoKontrol As Simple Waveform Editor
I made a basic Max/MSP patch that allows one to use the Korg NanoKontrol MIDI controller as a periodic waveform editor. Each of the first eight faders controls a point along a periodic waveform. The ninth fader controls the frequency of the waveform.

would any midi controller with knobs function in the same way or is this specific to the nanoKontrol?
Hey Kris, how are you going mate? Yes - this patch should be VERY easy to adapt to a range of MIDI controllers with faders and or knobs. Let me know if you would like a hand with this.
I completely agree with everything you have printed here.
