SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis MIDI Interface Update

I have updated my SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis with the following features:
  • Samples are now velocity-sensitive for volume control. The velocity range of 0 - 127 sets the sample playback volume to one of eight levels.

  • Samples have been updated to include the break (BRK) sample and additional claps, slaps and a dub siren

  • USB support has been added, and the interface appears as a standard MIDI device (compatible with Windows, Linux and OS X)

The only thing left to do before an initial batch is created is to update the included presets.

I was pouring through some of the little-scale albums I haven't been able to listen to yet and fell a little in love with Baryogenesis and Slower Motion Living. Very nice!

I needed a new art project so I did a little piece inspired by Destroy Yourself Already!

Will surely do some more based on your other stuff.

can like, the first 3 or 4 presets be intial waveforms for the sega genesis? so we can modify from scratch?

do you think about to incorporate an option to work with the sms sound expansion in the japanese versions of the megadrive or with the sms sound expansion from viletim?

Absolutely awesome! It is amazing how much effort you spent on this. I can't wait to hold the final product in my hands for both my GameGear and my old first generation SMS :D

I think I fell into a internet black hole. I want to make music on my gg but I have no idea what I stumbled into. Looks like a lot of work and I may be back to get that cartridge. Peace.
