I Built A HTPC
So I made a HTPC, mainly for the purpose of streaming 720P and below video over a wireless network to a HD TV. In other words, it doesn't have to have super specs, it just has to get the job done.
The parts I used were basically the barebones parts as currently listed in the Whirlpool budget HTPC section: an AYWUN 1001 case, ASRock E350M1 mini-ITX motherboard, 2GB of RAM, 500GB HDD and a wifi card. I also added an old optical drive.
It functions correctly, which is always a plus.
