Two or Eight Channel Audio Input to Audio Output Router

From time to time, I have the need to route the audio from a separate sound card or source to my audio output, simply to hear the output and nothing else. I could open up a DAW for this, but it seems a little overkill.

This OS X application and Max patch simply takes audio from an audio device and routes it to the output of another audio device. Faders set the level between input and output.

The use is very simple - use the setup button to choose your input and output source, and set the audio to on. Set the levels with the faders.

I once had the interesting problem of audio always passing through the sound card even if the DAW wasn't on OR the firewire even plugged in!!! Turns out my presonus firestudio has a mixer mode and I had to get into the Presonus software to disengage it
