Noise Resynthesis Synthesiser
MIDI-controllable (via note on / off / velocity to resonance and pitch bend) noise resynthesis plugin. Use this alongside PathMIDI: http://little-scale.blogspot.com.au/2012/10/pathmidi-routing-max-for-live-device.html. The video above shows an example of use.

Crude MIDI Resynthesis
A crude MIDI resynthesis tool. Incoming audio is split up into 128 bands across the spectrum in 30 ms chunks. For every band and every chunk, the energy is converted into velocity for that particular MIDI pitch.
Thus, every 30ms chunk can consist of up to 128 note on events (one for every pitch), which can then be played back to give a strange, low resolution impression of the timbral, pitch and to a lesser degree rhythmic content of the music.
I love the data that is created by this tool.
