Dwindling Dollar

Via the blog of Nitro2k01:

This is probably be illegal, so practice at your own risk. But I was just wondering what would happen if every time a bunch of people acquired paper money (dollar dollar bills y’all), they cut off a small segment of the bill. While you’re not supposed to deface money (as its a symbolic attack against people’s faith in the govt), it’s interesting to take very literally the sort of seas of fees that banks and other transactions take out of your typical dollar.

Cutting it is a bit drastic.
All you have to do is write/draw on it.

"You have failed me!"

What happens when you have enough fragments to make a whole new dollar bill?
