SEGA Mster System Internal MIDI Interface!

I'm very happy with this modification / hack - basically, it's a SEGA Master System with an internal MIDI interface and a direct audio line output. You just plug in cables for power, audio output and MIDI input, and there you go. I've also added a power LED, which can help for quick troubleshooting.

very clean, very cool. was it a difficult or straightforward hack?

@ Anonymouse: It was actually very easy. The hardest part was that I did not have a drill bit that was of the correct size to drill a MIDI-jacko sized hole, so it was a little annoying to make that hole.

Oh man! I would covet one of those; I'd use it in live shows.

Gonna release schematics, or build and sell them?

This looks very cool! Did you ever get the MIDI cartridge into production? I'm eager to make some music with my master system, but I'm not so good with electronics.
