Milkcrate on triple j

The popular radio station Triple J will be sporadically airing an interview with me about the milkcrate project in the week starting Monday, 22nd May. The short segment will also feature a number of excerpts from various sessions. Apparently, an article will also be available online via their website, with links, pics and sounds. Or so I am told. I will post the link when and if it beomes available.

hey seb,
encase you dont know me, im a mus.tech 1st year (the little man who asked you a strange question about your honours study prehaps having a market in people with disabilities). anyway, nice work on getting onto triple j, no small feet! also, how you finding the new tool album? i like 'vicarious' and 'right in two' and a couple of others but it hasn't really much for me... especially in association with lateralus/aenima.

"

i own the tv

cause tragedy thrills me

whatever flavor it happens to be, like

killed by the husband...

i need to watch things die.

"

gool lyrics however.. sinister indeed,
just like milkcrate seems to me. i would very much like to be involved with milkcrate at some point. anywho,

Hey Jake,
thanks for the comments. Actually, I have considered disability in the creation of musical interfaces before (last year, my end of year project was a musical ball that was played by spueezing and moving it- something also perhaps aimed at music therapy).

I really like vicarious and wings pt2. However, I still am more impressed on a whole by lateralus.

Some of the lyrics on the album are very good however-

"10000 days in the fire is long enough, you're going home" and all that...

I will contact you about future milkcrates. Have a look at the forum for discussions on upcoming sessions:

cheers,
seb

That's why I like those lyrics, they seem very intense and personal.
