Pitch as Time Space; Keyboard as Sequencer

I've made a sequencer that maps the pitches of a MIDI keyboard to a linear, looping time space. The internal paradigm shift that occurs when we consider an interface in a slightly different modality than its inherent use / design results in an interesting cognitive experience.

This is something that I've explored with specific MIDI controllers (F1, NanoKontrol, NanoPad etc) but never as a generic construct that can be applied to a wide range of (keyboard-based) controllers.
