It's basically a blank cart pcb, so it can be potentially all of those things.

You dont need a flasher as you load to SD/MMC cards. I have one, do you think it will be compatible with your interface when it is ready? I assumed you were going to be building your own carts like the c64 mssiah. So will we need to be building our own interface a la arduinoboy?
